Doctor-to-be! We are fortunate to have Lawrence joining us on Saturdays. Lawrence is in his first year of optometry school at SCCO in Fullerton. He formerly worked at a busy optometry practice in northern California. As a bonus, Lawrence is fluent in Chinese.

Justin Timberlake's William Rast frames are here! The designs and lines are so artistic and unique. The women's frames are chique and flattering. For guys with narrow to average width faces (I have a feeling Justin had these designed for himself!) these frames are perfection.

iZON High Resolution Eyeglass Lenses--Coming this week!! We could not wait any longer to get this technology in our office so you can have the very sharpest HD vision possible. Lenses are available in single vision and progressives. They come in clear, transitions, and tinted sun lenses.
ZEAVISION QUANTIFEYE--What is your MPOD score? To minimize your risk of macular degeneration (AMD)--the leading cause of vision loss in people over 55--your macular pigment should be dense enough to protect the delicate retinal tissue responsible for central vision from UV damage. If your macular pigment density is low, you can increase it with diet and supplements. But first you need to determine your baseline level. The QuantifEYE measures your zeazanthin pigment density as an MPOD score to help determine whether you are at increased risk of vision loss from AMD. The best treatment for AMD is prevention. It is never too early to protect your eyes from AMD.
RETINAL CAMERA--We are excited to let you know about our new high resolution digital Retinal Camera that will allow us to photograph the inside of your eyes to make sure they are healthy. This wonderful technology can detect glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other diseases. It can also help us follow common conditions such as iris and retinal "freckles" that can sometimes change size or shape. Changes in these "freckles" can lead to sight and even life-threatening disease without prompt treatment.
We recommend baseline retinal photos for all patients to help rule out any changes in eye health at future exams. If you have not seen what the inside of your eye looks like, we know you will be amazed at this technology. We can even take stereo photos for a 3-D view!
